Salt and Light Group is a ministry of two members of Newell Christian Fellowship. Salt and Light Group exists to advocate for and meet the needs of refugees, victims of injustice, natural disasters, and poverty to enable these vulnerable groups to become healed and empowered for a healthy life. Assistance is given with dignity to beneficiaries regardless of race, creed, gender, religion, or ethnicity

Salt and Light Group focuses on difficult locations where no other access to help is available - remote area healthcare, mental health, and social issues while emphasizing community-based planning, self-sustaining projects, and partnering with indigenous-led organizations which enable the local communities and leaders towards self-reliance. Salt and Light Group strives for eco-friendly, locally derived strategies with all their projects.
